Amoung UNLV 6 losses - UNLV came back to beat 5 of those same teams Air Force -- and BYU both ranked above UNLV all year long --

TCU, Well  they just came out flatter than Buffalo snot -- it happens --

But UNLV turned it on from being 14 --5 to finishing at winning  14 out of their last 15 games (TCU) and going 28--6.

UNLV was picked to be 6th in the MWC.... Just some UNLV info and why I was backing my College Team for out West -- while supporting Ohio State as my East Coast Team, both for many years.

A Dangerous Team,  needed  to be  watch is Davidson 29 -- 4 ----- more so than WINTHROP -- 30--3.

A very sneaky team not to be taken lightly is Oregon -- 24 -- 9 --

What makes this Years March Maddness interesting, ( ONE WORD ) {{ PARITY}}

Only Team to not have a chance is Stony Brook --

Congratulations to all BUCKEYE and RUNNIN REBELS fans and to both TEAMS

I think the Buckeyes will find some extra motivation because the committee ranked OSU as the 3rd ranked #1 seed.  They won 17 games in a row, were the polls #1 for 2 weeks, won the outright conference and tournament championships and beat Wisky twice while they were ranked in the top 4.

Plus the B10 got 6 teams in the tournament and has one of the highest conference RPI ratings.

The Buckeyes will have a bit of chip on their shoulder, as they should.

UNLV got a little bit of a lower seed than I expected but they're in and that's what counts.  Their problems was their conference wasn't very well respected by the committee.  I think only 2 teams from the Mountain West got in.

Taking a Nooners break Nate-- I was surprised that BYU got in the NCAA Brackets --IMO I don't believe they should have been invited --again their record versus teams like Kansas State , as an example now NIT bound.

Air Force didn't make it either -- and shouldn't have --

I stand corrected on one Team in my early comments some time ago, and that is George Town, like my UNLV, really turned it on and stand at 26 -6 -- at one point I think they were 18 --6 or close enough -- and they play in a tough Conference, so Congrats to them.

Speaking of tough Conference, the BIG 10 had alot of 20+++  Team Winners this year.
Around 6 or 7 --

MWC had only 3 ---

It won't happen, but if OSU aand UNLV met up for the Championship -- I'll end up COLDER than ANVIL

A huge total of 104 teams won 20+ games this year!!!

.....including the 30 WIN AP #1 BUCKEYES!

(even though they were the 3rd #1 seed, I really like their chances in the South bracket.....pencil them in the Final 4)

It's so hard to go undefeated, only one major D-1A team has ever gone 14-0 in the history of the college football and win the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP.

Morning Mike -- Yeah I had noticed that a week ago -- just didn't do the math .

Wow 104 teams out of 165 --is that a record by any chance.

Makes you wonder how many  times each played Stony Brook, and William & Mary and that NJIC Team --- explains the College Of Guam Final Island Tidal Wave Tournament

Hey Stoney,

Criss-crossing with you between here and the INDIANS Clubhouse.....and occassionally Fans 247.

The 104 20 win teams is out of about 337 (I think it's 337), remember in hoops the little guys play with the BIG boys....and scare the he11 out of a few of them.

In 1-A football it's 119 teams, in all of 1-A and AA it's about 240 (+/-).

FYI I picked your guys NEVADA to win 3 up to OHIO ST, losing of course  , but the BUCKEYES go to the Final 4 losing to UNC?Huh? (I hear boooooing here).

On UNLV I have GT wacking them in game 1, but I'm only 6-2 so far today....not a big hurt, I had Texas Tech and ODU win 1 and done.

Well it's GO BUCKEYES time!

Way to go Mike -- 6 --2 not bad at all

I missed on Davidson, Wisconsin thought would lose --came real close, no cigar.

Since I have been picking on Arizona being in the top 25 --validated today, Arizona went down,--- Yeesss !!!!!!!

On games I picked, I am 3-3 -- thanks Duke and Georgia -- Arizona.

Believe Michigan is the next Big Ten to fold -- just a feeling.- Illinois a big surprise there.

Big test Sunday -- Wisconsin and UNLV -- should they win --next game Orgeon yikes

Gonzaga gone -- Duke -- Villanova -- Georgia -- ND --  Arizona ---

I hope Michigan State loses to UNC (THEY JUST LOST)....I have UNC winning it all over WISC!

Illinois just shut down and still barely lost, the BIG TEN coulda' been 6-0.

OREGON will be very tough -and- I have Wisc beating FLA, it's tough to repeat...last time it was DUKE in 91 & 92!!
