Don't know why I forgot how many teams are selected for NCAA and NIT Tournaments?
Or are they picked from Regional Seed Bracket winners only?

Does the Winner of each League Division get an automatic Bid, for finishing first , or is it a collective BID based on best records overall for the NCAA and the Teams who don't make that selection, are then picked for the NIT with a couple of teams on the Bubble to fill out the brackets.Huh?

There are around 85 Teams this year in the NCAA with 20 wins or more out of what 150 teams?

Is that an All Time record Huh? I am primarily a MLB Sport Fan, been away from NCAA for quite some time -- but NCAA finally  replaced the NFL-- Soccer -- Tennis -- Chess -- American Idol -- and Professional Broom Hockey

65 teams go to the tournament. #64 and 65 play for the rights to play the #1 team in the land. You can get an automatic bid for winning your conference tournament.

YES, 65 and yet it is very exciting!

I'm still ticked NCAA 1-A football doesn't do a playoff.....everyone else does.

It's so hard to go undefeated, only one major D-1A team has ever gone 14-0 in the history of the college football and win the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP.

Basketball does it right.

Don't worry Stoney.......UNLV will get in the tourny and that's all that matters.  They'll probably get a good seed in the west.

Oh yes, they will be right there!

I have the feeling this is going to be a wild March Maddness, parity and no clear cut dominate teams = upset city.
