No. 7 Ohio State fought off No. 13 Purdue in the second half for a 64-55 victory on Monday. Purdue's Jodi Howell was hot in the first half -- landing a series of 3s -- but it wasn't enough to stop the Buckeyes' Star Allen. She led Ohio State with 21 points to snap the Boilermakers' 8-0 Big Ten record.

It was the only meeting scheduled between the rivals this season. Ohio State won its 12th straight game while holding the Boilermakers to 36 percent shooting and outrebounding them 41-30.

It was the first home loss for Purdue, which moved into the Top Ten earlier in the day.

19-1, 12-0 looks like the #4 Lady Bucks and the #4 Men's team will make an interesting MARCH MADDNESS!

pretty much the whole word doesnt give a crap about womens basketball. i know i dont but since they are part of the buckeye family i might as well cheer. its nice to say that they are doing well.
