Well it was a very good game to watch. It was close for most of the game. Wisconsin had some good leads but OSU always responded. Very well played by both teams. If OSU can keep up that play they will be just fine come March against other good teams. I just can't wait until Oden gets that Cast off!
Greg Oden was a non factor in the first half. He did not make one field goal and was in foul trouble all of the first half. He go better in the second half scoring 8 of his 10 points in the 2nd half. Once again he was a force inside on D. He had 7 rebounds and 6 huge blocks! It was very cool watching Oden swat everyone. Who knows, when he goes to the NBA he could break the all time block record
Mike Conley Jr. had an off night. He did not do to well. He scored 7 points on 3-7 shooting from the field. He did have 3 rebounds which were all on the offensive board but he did have very nice passes in the game. Lots of smart decision making by him. He got a total of 5 assists. Also getting 2 steals
Daequan Cook did not have one of his great shooting night like normal. Only scored 5 points. The up of his game was his rebounding. He grabbed 9 boards and 4 of which were on offense. This was his best rebounding game but worst shooting game. Cook only turned the ball over once and had a steal
Ron Lewis had his best game of the year. He had 14 points on 5-11 from the field and 3-5 beyond the arc. Very good game and to go along with those points he had 7 rebound and all were on defense. He has picked up his game as of late and is showing the Lewis of old. I really hope he can keep it up because he is a good player.
Jamar Butler did very well shooting the ball. he scored 12 points, all on 3 balls. He was 4-8 from the 3 point line and only shot 3's in the game. To go with that he had 5 assists but turned the ball over 3 times. Butler misses the game tying shot at the end of regulation.
Ivan Harris had a great game. He scored the most points for a Buckeye with 17 points. He went 5-11 shooting the 3 and 2-2 from the charity strike. It was his best game of the year and I hope to see more of him down the road.
The Buckeyes had more total rebounds and assists then Wisconsin but what killed the Buckeyes was there shooting percentage. They .383% from the field but did good shooting the 3 having .462% from downtown.
