Some people seem to be attempting to compare this years UF team to the 02 Buckeyes.

1) This is an unfair comparison to both teams.

2) Looking at it there are really no similarities other than the fact that OSU is HEAVILY favored and not many people outside of Florida are giving the Gators much of a chance.

Florida is good team with great team speed. I personally think we will wear Florida down by the end of the 3rd quarter.  Our running game will play a big factor late in the game by controlling the clock and wearing down a very talented defense.  Couple that with Smiths ability to make big plays.

It's going to be a great game.

Go Bucks!!

I’ve started my pre game tailgating already, and before I left work today I told my boss about my Dr. Appointment tomorrow morning.  As far as the game goes I’ll admit I’m a little nervous.  Should Ohio State win? yes. OSU would kill Florida during the regular season, but a long layoff is always a big equalizer.  Plus Woody Hayes once said when a team starts to hear a lot of good things about themselves, they start to believe it.  Both Tressel and Myers are great coaches and they have plenty of time to break down both teams and ad live to their off and def.

My prediction is OSU 30 Florida 10.  Florida has a great Def, and I think Troy Smith and the Off will struggle early.  OSU will get some early FG, and a TD before half.  OSU scores a couple TD in the second half to pull away for the win.  Bottom line is I don’t think Chris Leak is that great, and Florida’s kicker is awful.  I’m betting he’ll miss two FG's and kills Florida’s morale.

Nice job on the Dr. appointment.

It's almost game time folks.

I'm pumped.

Is it really here? Seems like it's been 50 WEEKS not days!

Tressel is worth 3+ points alone.....I think they win, "maybe" romp, we'll see in 30 minutes!

GO BUCKS, a win would be FAN-tastic

It's so hard to go undefeated, only one major D-1A team has ever gone 14-0 in the history of the college football and win the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP.

If we win the Buckeyes will be:
  • Become the first team to win two BCS Championship Trophies
  • Become the first team to win 5 BCS Bowl games
  • Become only the third team to ever be ranked AP #1 from the pre-season until the end of the year
  • Become only the second Ohio State team to win 13 games in a season (14-0 in 2002)
  • Become only the second OSU team to win at least 20 consecutive football games
  • Become the first OSU team to have a Heisman winner and a National Championship in the same season
  • Become only the second team to win five AP #1 vs. AP #2 football games
  • Become the first #1 team to defeat three #2 teams in the same season
I wasn't sure if I should post this but here it is.  This team could be a team of destiny.
