I have always thought that a strong defense is very important if you are going to have success. I also feel that the defensive line is the key in the defense. No d line no success. If you look at the buckeyes they have a pretty solid d line. Im not so high on gohlston yet, but in a few years he could be ok. I wanted some opinions on who would have a better NFL career. Quinn Pitcock or David Patterson. Or even Jay Richardson, who i like to call bug eyes. I beleive Pitcock will be better. I believe he is quicker and is a better pure tackler. Patterson has also had some knee injuries in the past. Both i feel are very important to this buckeyes defense and i dont think the bucks would be where they are at without them as players and as leaders. It will suck to see them go. But any opinions of other people would be nice.
No doubt in my mind that Pitcock will be a servicable lineman, nothing special and the same with Patterson. Jay doesnt stand out when he plays so there is no reason to believe that he will have a special career in the NFL. Gholston is a stud in the making, multi-versatile and is as stron as an O.
