I only saw the second half of the game last night, but a few thoughts:

The Buckeyes proved that they are deserving of the #1 ranking. Not because of them almost choking away the lead, but because of how they found a way to get it done.

They are a very deep offensive team. Diebler, Buford and Lighty will blitz you if you leave them open beyond the arc. Buford, Lighty, and Craft will break your spirit their dribble drive penetration to the basket. And then, of course, there is the stud in the middle. The great equalizer to many defenses.

Specifically about last night, the entire game changed and took away all the 2nd half momentum the Buckeyes had on the intentional foul call on Lauderdale. Maybe that's business as usual in the paint in the Big Ten and we usually just don't see it - but dang, that almost cost them the game.

How many bombs did #4 have to hit before the Buckeyes decided it may be a good idea to put a body on him?

Aaron Craft is extremely valuable to this team. If you get a bit cocky that you have stopped the Buckeyes perimeter and inside offense, this TRUE FRESHMAN will break your ankles with his crossover moves to the basket. If think JaJuan Johnson still hasn't found his jock after Craft undressed him the other night.

Gonna be a fun stretch run.

Brooks,

That was a very interesting game.  Kudos to NW playing without Shurna.  They played great perimeter D for the most part.  I think when we play best is when Bufford and Lighty are driving and shooting in the paint or dishing for an open 3.  NW took that away.

Watching Sullinger is a joy.  He makes it look so easy around the basket.

Here is hoping that we keep the streak going ....  sign_oh

GO BROWNS, TRIBE, BUCKEYES, CAVS, YSU, and yes I like ND plus GO NAVY, beat Army!!

It's so hard to go undefeated, only one major D-1A team has ever gone 14-0 in the history of the college football and win the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP.

Jim Tressel and The OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY BUCKEYES!
