I just downloaded Internet Explorer last night.

It's kind of a IE/Firefox hybrid.

At first glance it's not to bad.

Anyone else using it?

I've been using FireFox for over a year.  IE7 now has many of the same features. Tabbed browsing being the major enhancement.

They have also reduced their risk from active X from what I understand which was a huge flaw in previous IEs.

I'm going to upgrade when I get around to it this weekend.

Mainly for the "improved" security.

(too lazy to try firefox   )

I just installed IE7.  Took a few minutes to get used to the look but NOT BAD.

I'd recommend it.

.....ALSO, I SEE TRIBE 24/7 IS HACKED AGAIN, I WILL PUT UP A SEPERATE POST WITH MY THOUGHTS ON IT.

I've had IE7 beta for some time. I still use my Firefox primarily. I guess it's just that no matter how many downloads they say it has.... when I look at my host stats and see that less than 1% of users are on Mozilla. That convinces me that hacker etc... aren't really in high alert to mess with it. Maybe I'm just naive?!?!

You're right, not as much "bang" in messing with Firefox, plus some old hackers just don't like Bill Gates and MICROSOFT.....for whatever reason.
