As a Professional Cowboy of many years -- working Wild Mustangs and all breeds of horses with severe dangerous vices, and bring them back from harms way, and experiences in the Wilderness of Alaska, British Columbia, and into the Wilderness Regions of the NW nad SW parts of our America --
is why I post this thought.

I state all that as validation, my experiences with wild life, bears, buffaloes, Mountain Lions, and such -- that of all the wild animals --the Buffalo is the most danegrous in this sense --

EXTREMEY UNPREDICTABLE especially when the new calves are around in the herd, and the whole herd will cirle those calves, and in many case will attack anything they perceieve as a threat ----having said that ---

Steve Irwins young girl Bindi was placed in front of, with a lead rope leading  a young Buffalo calf by that rope, and yes they had people with dart guns and other staff to protect  Bindi who is about 6 to 9 years old.

All claiming she is like her father, not afraid ----- I mean this kindly -- no fear   doesn't equate with being reckless, and cavalier  --  this is being stupid, and will get her killed or seriously injured.

You see that girl was no more than 3 feet in front of that buffalo -- and that young calf or its mother could strike so fast, that by the time that staff , guns and all, could respond, Bindi will be already hurt or dead --

I saw this on TV last night ---and I e-mailed Terri -- Mrs. Irwin, and why this  shouldn't be allowed ever.

I know you folks live a life with more sensibilities, but as us Cowboy, and Outdoors Folks who deal with Wild Life ---  I swear this is worth note -- these are not pets -- they will hurt you, and keep right on grazing ---

Did any of you see that news report last night -- and your thoughts --goodnight folks.
