And the Buckeyes take the field...it's party time!

« on: September 11, 2010, 10:59:49 AM »

When: Saturday, September 11 @ 3:30 P.M.
Where: Ohio Stadium "The Shoe"
Media: ESPN

This is pretty much an unofficial thread. Normally Nate handles the football forum but I haven't seen him on all week and this is a pretty big game for us so it would be appropriate to have this up.

About the game I'm a bit nervous because Miami has been a tougher team as of late so it would be wise not to underestimate the 'Canes. It's in our house so I know the Bucks are gonna give them one hell of a fight.

Give it all you got Buckeyes!  sign_oh

It's so hard to go undefeated, only one major D-1A team has ever gone 14-0 in the history of the college football and win the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP.

Huge win today.  It wasn't pretty and we  left a lot of points on the field but a very nice win today.

Great win -but- you had to sweat it until the last BUCKEYES possesion.

Still the BUCKEYES "D" has only given up 1 TD and 1 FG so far in two games.
Special teams "D" has given up 3 TDs.

BUT I'LL TAKE IT!! biggrin

It was real gritty in the first half, a pretty close game but we managed to secure the momentum for the rest of the second half.

Despite a well rounded victory I did sense a lack of aggressiveness from the ol' "Tressel-ball" system. We had a chance at 2 touchdowns from the Red Zone (Not counting the last minute of the game) and had the Bucks tried to get to the endzone and succeed, it would've given us a nice cushion in that game. Not to mention that it'll help us in later games against a QB that doesn't hand us the ball constantly, well sure Jacory Harris didn't literally but he might as well have!  laugh

We're looking pretty good so far, keep up the good job Buckeyes!

Very nice.  Thanks for posting and welcome to the site.

I really liked Cameron Heyward's comments regarding the INT - that was funny.

Anyone here see the video of "The Rock" Dwayne Johnson talking smack about Ohio State before this game? lol

I'd love to see what the rock is cookin right about now, and what he has to say.
