I'm surprised OHIO STATE is #1 because the Big 10 is so weak this year!

Even pitiful PSU was in the game until they lost QBs 1 & 2 (but "m" was tougher).

After OSU, "m", then who really?  But then most conferences aren't exactly rocking it top to bottom this year.  And it's TRUE USC hasn't looked like a #2 team.

I just want to see Nov. 18...#1 BUCKEYES vs #2 "m"....and the winner* guaranteed a Championship shot!

(*OSU of course  )

I'm OK with the top 3.  If all 3 keep winning it'll take care of itself.  Although, I don't see USC winning out.

I don't like that Auburn is #4.  They already have 1 loss and as it stands now they won't even make it to the SEC Championship game unless Arkansas loses twice in the SEC.

The one thing that I cannot believe in all of the BCS standings is the fact that the computers have USC #1 and the team up north #2 on strength of schedule.

Who has USC played?  Strength of schedule my butt.  The only opponent they have played that was ranked at the time is Nebraska?  Granted they did put a beating on Arkansas the first game of the season, but what have they done since then?  They have Oregon, Cal and ND 3 games in a row.  I will be impressed if they win 2 of 3 and completely shocked if they win out.

The same goes for the team up north.  They played ND, but haven't had a ranked opponent since.  They play unranked Iowa at home this week, who just lost to Indiana, and then scrimmage high school teams until their trip to 'The Shoe'.  The only good news is that #2 seems to be a bad spot to be in this year.  Everyone that is ranked #2 seems to be stepping in it on the way.

Usually I agree with what the computer rankings have to say, but this year I have to question who is putting the data in.

Go ahead and complain, OSU hasnt played any one either so yap about their schedual. They had to only play Texas, which quite frankley is way overated. Lets see youve played Cinci,BG,MSU,IOWA,PSU Michigan played CM,ND,PSU,MSU,VANDY,WISCONSON who is ranked and MINN.
We both have had a weak sxhedual but if your undefeated I dont see the point in complaining.

One thing for sure, an undefeated OSU vs "m".......winner gets a shot!

.....or better yet Nov.18 is the NC.

I'd love to see, USC lose,  a WVA go up against OSU and put it to rest:

try iowa at iowa, it ain't easy. big ten is bg ten, always tough! iowa was 13th when we(OSU) creamated them. penn states defense is underated. but we did land up beating them by umm 21.. m.. a like 7. this weeks game, i think 31 points over indiana is a stretch. tressel doesn't like to run score up alot. he is being more aggressive this year, compared to last. osu should smash them by more than 31, but you know tressel, conservative at times. OSU 35 mich... 10 my prediction

I disagree that we both have played weak schedules.  OSU has played a tougher schedule than UM so far.  You conviently forgot to post that OSU played Texas at Austin who was #2 at the time. Texas hasn't lost since.

For some reason the computers like USC's schedule better. It' s mute point as I see them losing before the end of the year.

If OSU and UM win out they will probably be 1 and 2.  Right now both teams are not only the best teams in the conference but they're the best 2 teams in college football.
