WED 10/14/09 DOW closes at 10,015.....whew!

Good news you all you 401(k) and other investors who stuck it out during the last year plus.
BETTER if you had the guts to increase your investments, I kept my wife steady at 8%.
Remember dollar cost averaging, dividends, short and long term capital gains and compounding.
Stocks and Mutual Funds were on sale, big discounts! Remember you are collecting shares, not the bottom line "big" number.....until you sell.

BAD news if you paniced at 9000, 8000, 7000 or worse yet 6500 and cashed out.

Oh yeah, 10,000 1st time was in 1999, crossed that number 50 times, last time over a year ago.....but it's great news in 2009!

GO BROWNS, TRIBE, BUCKEYES, CAVS, YSU, and yes I like ND plus GO NAVY, beat Army!!

It's so hard to go undefeated, only one major D-1A team has ever gone 14-0 in the history of the college football and win the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP.

Well since then the Dow's been over 11,000, down to 9816, and today (06/08/2010) closed at 9939.

REMEMBER when the market rockets up to take a little profit or rebalance, especially if you're older or not a risk taker.
And when it goes down again, and it will, BUY!
