I know the Buckeyes choked against USC. They dropped in the poll from 8 to 11 - as they should have.

MAC schools have shown the ability to beat quality teams on occasion in the past. Ohio State showed a little bit of class in scheduling a credible opponent from in state.

So, that brings us to our most recent game.

Ohio State DESTROYS Toledo 38-0. Steps on their throat early, and never lets up. It's what good teams do to lesser opponents.

I also know that the media loves to hate Ohio State. But dropping not 1, not 2, but 3 spots in the top 25? I wish all the voters would do me a favor and remove their lips from Florida's posterior. I didn't see the voters dropping the Gators after they sheepishly scheduled Charleston Southern (who?) and annihilated them 60 something to not much.

The Top 25 is a joke that need replaced by a system similar to our high school computer rankings. Where strength of schedule is rewarded and picking on your little brother is penalized.

Yeah, that ticked me off too. But you can hardly put SC behind us now that they've beaten us in our own house and only 2 weeks ago ta' boot.

So since SC did it's annual hiccup and fell to another un-ranked opponent, they took over our spot and forced us back further in the polls.

We still have plenty of oppertunities to move up if we beat Penn St. Iowa, Wisc. and Mich. It's still early remember.... smile

There are plenty of opportunities to get this season turned around. Bottom line - if you want to move up in the polls - don't leave it in someone else's hands and take care of your own business by winning. Buckeyes, my earlier post was strictly a vent at the the inconsistencies of the system being used.

I agree with alot thats being said. If you can't beat a team then you should'n't be ahead of them. Bottom line is we have to win.

Okay, we have shut out our last two opponents. Three teams in the top ten were upset this weekend. I wonder how far the scribes will drop us this week? Hello, 16?

Hey, we are in 9th right now in USA today poll.  I am sooooo glad we jumped TCU so the news down here will quiet down about "the other #1 team in Ohio".

Whoo-hoo!
Sarcasm aside, I see Penn State's cupcake preseason caught up with them. A 10 spot drop is pretty severe.
Memo to the Buckeyes: Make sure you show up to play Sat. nite in Indiana.

MOM!! They're picking on us again!

We beat another opponent handily, someone ahead of us loses, and that's a good enough reason to have someone else leapfrog us.........

Bad, Bad voters!
