This year we hope to repay the PSU Nittany Lions for last years defeat in Happy Valley.

The similarities are seemingly familiar.  The home team is undefeated while the visiting team has one loss already.  The fans and alum are calling for huge fan support to influence the game at the Shoe the same way the students orchestrated the now famous White Out last year in Happy Valley.  It appears it's going to be raining at game time as it was last year.  PSU has the legendary JoPa on the sideline.  The Buckeyes have a legend in the making on their sideline.

The differences: PSU is a bit younger and more inexperienced than the team we sent to Happy Valley last year. PSU doesn't appear to have the smothering defense they had a year ago. Ohio State appears to be a well tuned offensive machine right now, unlike last year at this time in the season.

The spread, the last time I checked, was 16.  The more I think about it the more I don't think we'll cover the spread.  PSU almost always plays us very tough.  They have a pretty good running game as do we.  With it looking like it's going to be raining during the game I get the feeling this could be a typical smash mouth Big 10 football game.

I think we will prevail today and if I have to guess a score, I'll go 20-14.

What are your thoughts?

Go Buckeyes!

Oh....

West Jeff huh?  Your son playing varsity?

James Laurinitas with another INT.  The guy is just in the right place all the time.  WOW!

Geeze.  Offense doesn't have it clicking right now.

Cool.  Good luck.

PSU to punt.  The defense looks great. The offense needs to reciprocate.

Interesting tidbit on Morelli.

Miguire is annoying but I really just have a negative vibe for Grease.  He used to do the games with Jackson in the mid 90s when his son played at Michigan and always talked about Michigan during the games.  Made me want to kick the TV in.

Good thing our defense is playing lights out. The O is struggling early, again.

Right there is why Troy is a front runner for the Heisman. Unbelievable play.

How in the world did we draw Paul Maguire to call this game. He's irritating me already. I can't stand his voice.

This is gonna be a grind it out game folks.  Maguire will do his best to drive us crazy

Very nice punt by AJ.

PSU pinned deep.

This could be a game chaning punt return....

Ginn biffed the punt return.

Wonder what's up with JoPa leaving the field? Hopefully nothing serious.

I hope that's all it was.......

I don't like the way this is playing out.  We need to get a lead.  Letting PSU stay close is just going to give more confidence.

This is what I was afraid of.  We messed around let PSU get in the game.  Now they're going to have the lead at the half.

BTW, that was a crap pass interference call.
