Since its No. 1-ranked recruiting class in 2004, Kentucky fans have longed to have the bragging rights of another No. 1 class.

It didn't take new coach John Calipari long to deliver. In his first months in charge of the program, Calipari has delivered a No. 1-ranked class.

The addition of a third five-star prospect in Eric Bledsoe has catapulted Kentucky's recruiting class to the top.

Also, Mississippi State joins the top 25 after signing five-star prospect Renardo Sidney and four-star mystery prospect John Riek during the spring signing period.

It's so hard to go undefeated, only one major D-1A team has ever gone 14-0 in the history of the college football and win the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP.

We don't have any recruits for 2009 since our team is full and we're losing a scholarhsip because of Kosta Kofus leaving school in the middle of a quarter.

However, we have a top 3 class depending on who you ask in 2010.  There are rumblings that the 2010 could potentially be just as good as the 2006 class.

That's where these lists can be deceptive in any sport, almost as bad as the MLB, NBA and NFL drafts.

It does give you somewhat of a base -but- the final grade is always on the field or court.
