Excellent article on BJ, I had no idea that he had such a tough upbringing ...

I heard he had a rough life growing up, didn't realize it was that rough.  He's come a long way. I still hope he stays but if he's guaranteed a 1st round pick and a few million you can't hold it against him for taking it.

And the Buckeyes take the field...it's party time!

I feel for Mullens, living that life will take an emotional toll on anyone but he managed to rise above it. As much as I would like for him to stay, having the financial security to move your parents from a rough neighborhood would be a blessing so I won't get mad if he leaves early, if he does, he's doing so for the right reason.

BJ's big brother's comments about wanting BJ stay in schoole and get his degree was interesting ... but it is hard to imagine passing up NBA money.

It was also interesting to read Deibler saying how much of an Ohio State fan Mullens is.

As much as the fame and money appeals to the youngsters wanting to go to the NBA, I do hope Mullens realizes the importance of having a degree and how much it would help him financially when his basketball career is over in the distant future, he'll have many opportunities to seek.

I will never bitch at him (through the TV) again. He's paid his dues.
