Just starting on ESPN.

Ohio State opened with PJ Hill at point and played a man-to-man.
Jumped to a 10-2 lead with PJ scoring 5 points.

Matta mixing man and zone.
Some new substitution patterns.

Offutt for Bufford marking Battle man-to-man.

Bucks up 19-2 half way through the first half, then watch PSU go on 13-0 run to get back in the game.
Unbelievable.

32-30 at half, Bucks lead.
This looked like a blow out early.

Down 3, with 13 minutes to go.  We need this game.  If we lose this, we're out of the NCAA.

And the Buckeyes take the field...it's party time!

Haven't forgotten about this game guys, was just getting off from work though thanks for starting up the thread Auto.  smile

Well hopefully I won't jinx the outcome of this game by saying this but the Buckeyes seem to have this under control with close to 3 minutes left in the game. This game and every other game is definitely a must win for our team 59-52. The losing streak must end now!

Strange game.
Bufford sits most of the 2nd half.
PJ showed skills I did not think he had.
Simmons made some huge 3s from the corner.
Turner "fails" to reach double digits for the first time this year, but had key assists and free throws down the stretch.
The bucks play man-to-man off and on during the game.
Turner plays the point a significant amount in the second half with Simmons at the 2.

Big win.

You are correct, this is a big win.  Now they need to keep it going.

Looks like Matta was really trying to mix things up.

The Big Ten is absurdly crazy this season, there just doesn't seem to be a balance in it at all. Penn State beats Illinois but they get downed by the Bucks. We beat big teams like Purdue and Minnesota but get edged by Northwestern, who couldn't beat Iowa but also manage to shut down Michigan State who has been the only consistent B10 team in my opinion.

It's outright madness I'm telling you! Aside from the Spartans, the B10 is topsy turvy with insane upsets, nobody's a pushover in this conference!
