The dual threat 4 star QB Tajh Boyd is seriously considering Ohio State.  Click here for Boyd Bio Page<--.   He has narrowed his top 3 to Ohio State, Clemson and Oregon.

As crazy as it sounds, he likes Ohio State because he thinks he might have a chance to play early.  Oregon has 4 QBs returning and Clemson has 5.  Ohio State only has 2 QBs returning and Boyd likes that Tressel gives everyone a chance to play and cited playing both QBs in the Fiesta Bowl a thing that he likes.

It would be great to get him.  He's a recruit and he would fit in nicely to the new offense that will implemented next season with Pryor.

I don't know how realistic it is for him take snaps from Pryor over the next two years but he does have a smaller ladder to climb at OSU than the other two schools.

In that case if he does fully commit to Ohio State, I would fully welcome him, although I do hope he's patient. He could be our #2 QB at best that's if TP happened to be injured but I think Boyd would have some time to wait considering Pryor's immense skill level.

I'm sure that at some point, that Jim Tressel will most likely find an opportunity to utilize the talents of this potential Buckeye.

Yes, but if you're #2 you're still 1 play away from being #1.  I actually like our chances to get him.   Especially since Clemson and Oregon have a lot of QBs coming back.

There are Buckeyes, and then there is Chris Spielman.  This is a man that needs no introduction; he embodies not only what it should mean to be a Buckeye, but what it should mean to be a football player and a man.  Simply put, there cannot possibly be anyone out there who does not respect Chris Spielman.  The man was born to play football as he rose from the storied Massillon Tigers to OSU to the NFL.

We have Pryor locked down now.  He would have to sit out a year if he transfers, so he is not going transfer as a consequence of being moved from QB to WR during the 2009 season.  Tress has proven that he will play the best players and if Boyd can beat out Pryor at QB, he knows Tress will make the call and he will get to play.

I cannot imagine that Boyd could possibly be good enough to unseat the "potential" that Pryor brings with him (which we hope to see a lot more of next season), but if you are this Boyd kid you gotta think you are pretty good.

Wasn't Tajh Boyd committed to Coach Rodriguez up in Michigan at one point?  Not that it makes a difference just curious.

Yes, he de-commited or turned down Richrod.  I think he also snubbed Tennessee.
