Laurinaitis is only 2nd person to ever be 3 time 1st team All American,Joining Pitt offensive lineman Bill Fralic(82-84).7 juniors filled out for draft evaluation, Russell, Washington, Coleman, Hartline, Cordle, and Ballard.  I guess Beanie didn't feel he needed to be evaluated.

Congrats to JL and MJ on their accomplishments and great OSU careers.

Not to surprising that some of the juniors wanted evaluated.

On Beanie, not sure what that means.  He either feels confident in what he feels his position will be or he's sticking to his word and coming back for his senior season in hopes of winning a Heisman.

I wasn't aware that he had stated he might return.  When did that happen?

According the the Dispatch, JT says he believes Beanie will be a top 5 pick and he has told Beanie not to waste his time and paper filing for evaluation.  He will be going to the NFL, no doubt.

It's for the best for Beanie. I would love for him to complete his senior season here in Ohio State but as long as his NFL value is sky high, he should take advantage of going in the draft. Thanks for the memories Beanie you've had an awesome run. Without a doubt, we now have room for other RBs to reach their full potential.

I agree completely, the NFL is most likely changing the rules regarding rookie signing bonuses after this year.  Boom showed a lot in the second half of the season, and Berry and Hyde coming in next year could be a future great HB FB tandem.  Good Luck Beanie in all you do.

After posting my last post on this topic i want to clear up that i really hope beanie comes back and tries his best t obecome an alltime great buckeye, but i just dont see that happening with the nfl changing its rules. Also he gets alot of injuries to his feet and ankles and the nfl doesnt have room for backs that are an injury waiting to happen. i love beanie and hope he comes back but i dont think it going to happen. I dont think we will have any where near the running game we have now without him, but we will have t omove on with boom, berry, and hyde.
