It's really Texas' game to lose. If the Longhorns come in fired up, filled with rage at being left out of the Nat'l Championship game and out to prove they deserved it, then we're doomed. They might also be hopeing that by beating us badly they some how gain a split vote if OU barley beats the Gators.

If on the other hand, they come in lackadaisical 'cos they don't really want to be there and feel the Bucks are beneath them as an opponent, then we stand a chance.

My guess is on scenario #1. Sad

With the circus media lapping up on the Texas saga, the frenzy might be enough of a distraction for them and mess up their psychic for the game.  I like being the underdogs...keeps us out of the spotlight to keep our focus.

Are u serious with this we can't beat Texas stuff. This is a team that we should've beaten twice already. And the first two times we played them they had better talent. Are you kidding me. If our players and coaching staff come in with that kind of attitude we will get embarrassed. U know why Ohio State keeps getting blown out in big games. No confidence in what their kids can accomplish. Not even JT. If out defense comes to play we can take McCoy out of the game. We've done it before. And I'd stick Malcolm on Shipley and completely take him out of the game. The biggest mistake this Texas team will make is if they think that they will come in and run all over this OhioState team. Get in the game buckeye fans.

Remember in 2006 when cry baby Meyer became a political leader, and argued for Florida to face OSU instead of the rematch between OSU. Well, I thought Michigan was gonna show some fire, and go into the Rose Bowl with some heat after being left out of the game, but instead, we left all our talent at home. I don't know what Texas will do, but I hope they show up.
