[!--quoteo--][div class=\'quotetop\']QUOTE[/div][div class=\'quotemain\'][!--quotec--]"I’m always there to make a big play, but I’m a receiver, too," Ginn said. "So if I get a 20-yard gain, that’s a great play. I just want guys to know that I’m going to be that guy that you can count on (at) any time of the game."

To get from "occasionally dazzling playmaker" to "reliable for 8 yards on third-and-7," Ginn has worked hard on his weaknesses coming to college — mainly, route running.

He said he can tell he’s improved in that area by how practices are going lately.

"Because I’m getting open," he said. "Guys are telling me, ‘Your routes are getting right, getting crispy, your timing is right.’ So I enjoy that. Guys are letting me know that I’m doing good, and I’m glad that I am."

Coach Jim Tressel concurred.

"I think that’s something he’s gotten better and better at," Tressel said. "Now I think you’d have to characterize him as an excellent route runner if you study the film." [/quote]

If what Tressel says is true, and I have to believe it is because generally means what he says, that's going to be huge for this offense this season.  That's always been the knock on Ted, is that he was a poor rout runner.  With his raw ability and now if he's a good rout runner, it's going to be very difficult to cover him.

It will be unusual to see a Jim Tressel team with an "O" that might be one of the nation's best.

But I guarantee he will be on his favorites, special teams (kicking game) and of course the "D".

The Tressel M.O. is ball control, clock control, don't beat yourself......but in 2006 he has some fun BIG "O" toys to play with!

Just remember, "IN TRESSEL WE TRUST".

GO BROWNS, TRIBE, BUCKEYES, CAVS, YSU, and yes I like ND plus GO NAVY, beat Army!!

It's so hard to go undefeated, only one major D-1A team has ever gone 14-0 in the history of the college football and win the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP.

Jim Tressel and The OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY BUCKEYES!

Tressel should have a running game that can control the clock and pound opposing defenses.  Pittman and Wells as a one, two punch is could be one of the best running back duo's in the country.

The Buckeyes are going to have many other weapons on offense as well.

I'm sure Ginn is going to be returning punts as well.  Actually, a guy at work said that they had Ginn taking punts with his back to the punter and telling him to turn around at the point when the ball is to him.  I'd assume that's a drill to get him to stop focusing so much on running before he catches the ball.
