I've said it before and I'll say it again - The most dangerous opponent any team faces is one with NOTHING to lose.I agree, this is their bowl game. If RR is somehow able to pull this one off, think of the heat that will take off the program. Thankfully, we have The Vest. If I'm JT this week, I'm pulling out old game films - I think it was 1996 - when all OSU had to do was get past UscuM for an undefeated season, and fell short. Personally, I think JT employs the same game plan as last year - with the same results. Beanie left, Beanie right, Beanie up the middle - OSU, not in a runaway but comfortably, 31-10.

I'm well aware that Michigan is not the lame team that everyone else thinks they are. I'm also well aware that unlike John Cooper, Jim Tressel takes this rivalry very seriously and I know that he's gonna motivate the Bucks to reach victory by any means possible.

I'm just saying that the Buckeyes will win, it won't be an easy win but it'll be a win nonetheless. The reason that Michigan has the record they do now is not that they're simply a team you can run over. The Wolverines can still contest almost any team in the nation. The problem is that they've lost a lot of heartbreakers because they can't close a game in the final minutes and end up being edged by teams like Toledo and Purdue.

As long as the Buckeyes do everything right and lot let up, the victory is as good as theirs. JT expects the best out of his team and he will not disappoint.

You never know, it might be another classic!

No matter what both teams and fans will be looking forward to the game.

It's so hard to go undefeated, only one major D-1A team has ever gone 14-0 in the history of the college football and win the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP.

Well lets just hope the Buckeyes don't get over confident about the game and play soft.

If it's one game you can count on Tressel having the boys ready.................its this game.

This is one game where you can gurantee you haven't seen a few plays or formations all freaking year.

Go Bucks!

There are Buckeyes, and then there is Chris Spielman.  This is a man that needs no introduction; he embodies not only what it should mean to be a Buckeye, but what it should mean to be a football player and a man.  Simply put, there cannot possibly be anyone out there who does not respect Chris Spielman.  The man was born to play football as he rose from the storied Massillon Tigers to OSU to the NFL.

I agree this is one game we should have in the bag but as others have pointed out this is their bowl game, their championship. They're going to be very fired up so it wouldn't surprise me if Tressel's conservative game plan doesn't keep the game closer than it needs to be early.

I'd like to see a good, old fashioned blow out for us where I can just sit back and listen to the announcers talk about which bowl we'll most likely be headed to and such but I can't kick that nagging feeling that this is going to be much closer than most of us feel comfortable with.

God I hope we don't blow this thing.

Thinking about it, ever since JT has taken the position as head coach, All of the OSU and UM matchups have been fairly close, none that I would consider a blowout so it's not like this is uncharted territory for Tressel. He's just up against a new coach who hasn't been exactly a godsend to the Michigan faithful...that's about it.

I wouldn't worry about us getting beat but I wouldn't be concieted either. Michigan are our rivals so no doubt we're bound to see tensions boil over at any part of the game and just like in the past 6 out of 7 seasons, The wolverweenies have always come up short.

I'd much rather have Michigan put up a fight, just like the UM of old because that's what I'm used to seeing out of them before the Bucks deny them in the last minutes of the game. I don't see the results of this upcoming game being any different than the other matchups.

I don't think so, I was checking the Sagarin FB ratings from USA TODAY:
#10 BUCKEYES
#105 "m", 10th in the B10, Indy was 11th, both below many D1-AA teams. Unreal.

I see the line is ~19-20, the BUCKS, rivalry or not should carry that!
