And the Buckeyes take the field...it's party time!

At this point, we might have to kiss the Rose Bowl and our 5th consecutive Big Ten title goodbye. I do believe in comebacks and upsets but at this point, Sparty's getting served.

so far michigan state is down 14 in the second....
42-7 end of 3rd qtr, a big WHOA. ohmy

PENN ST just one point and one IOWA FG from a possible NC shot for GrandPaJoe.

Tough for anyone anywhere to go undefeated!

It's so hard to go undefeated, only one major D-1A team has ever gone 14-0 in the history of the college football and win the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP.

I swear, Griese is a tool.   Who cares if he disagrees with how JT handled the QB situation.  Musical QBs never works.

OSU dominating UM.   Good to see an old fashion butt kicking.
I was kind of wishing someone would politely tell Mr. Griese SHUT UP ALREADY!

D'UH, just how long will Pryor be at OHIO ST? One, maybe two years? Get him ready now....and Mr. Griese, Todd had his shot, move on.

It's here!  Gameday.

Alright, I'll post my score mjp.  I don't think we cover the spread.  I say:

Ohio State: 24
scUM: 13

I think it's going to be a hard hitting smash mouth football game in the cold today.

BTW, Sgtschulze forgot to mention that the UM game we went to that was Smith and Gonzo's coming out party (04 I think), we were sitting in the Huntington Club.  Probably the best game I've been to at OSU.   I've been to a lot of games, including about 4 Michigan games.
Nice of you being so kind to Richie Rich's feelings!, but 42-7 OUCH!

Rivalry or not I think the BUCKEYES still cover the spread.

OHIO STATE 35 "m" 13

Hey, be a man, put it in writing!  Wink
(no offence buckeye2, elliemae)

Well I was -7 on OHIO STATE and +6 on "m"......but I'll sure take it!
What a second half butt kickin'.

St-st-still try-try trying-ng-ng ta-to wa-wa-wa-warmmmm uppppp!!!Ca-ca-cold atttttt the Sh-Sh-Shoooooe tooooday.   :band:

Great game. Was a little worried during the first quarter.  Pryer  settled down nicely and the Bucks got into the game.  Heard Beanie tweeked his hamstring again today. Boom had a great game and Small was  fast.  Defense did a great job keeping M at 7 points. Boy were they pumped. By the 4th quarter you could tell M just gave up, rolled over and played dead.

I was really surprised that after the game, the students rushed the field but no one tried going for the goal post(besides the fact they had them heavily greased).  The students were relativity subdue and were have more fun being on the field and taking group pictures.  Sure different from years past.  Maybe the weather played a factor in that.

How nice was it to see us just demolish Michigan?  We pounded them.  We've won 5 straight vs Michigan.  This senior class went 4-0 against Michigan.  Pretty impressive.  Even more impressive is JT's record of 7-1 vs Michigan.

I think our students and fans are just getting accustomed to beating Michigan.  When JT acquired as many wins vs Michigan in his first 2 seasons than Cooper had in 13 years as coach of the Bucks.

The students did get the digs in 3rd and 4th quarter.  The VERY LOUD chanting of of "We don't give a damn" and "what time is it?" were impressive as well as the new cheer" 5 in a row" got the stadium rocking.

Oh, and I like the new announcements of the W Va scores over the PA address system during the game.   Nice touch! poke

Hopefully Scarlettblood will make it back to Cincy from High Street in one piece.  The celebrating was great!

That's funny.  Didn't realize they were doing that.

I have heard that WVU fans are now also bigtime Buckeye fans.   biggrin
