Im so tired of hearing how we should have started TB. If TP doesnt fumble we dont hear anything about it. Its easy to SAY TB would have a better game, but we all know how well he does in big games. People can call him a Penn St killer all they want, Penn st wasnt as good last year when he beat them. Also i know noone will agree with me, but if you call the exact same plays with TP as you do TB id bet he would have alot more yards and most of these games wouldnt even be close.I think for the last 2 games we should run an offense that has the pass opening up the run not the other way around. I mean how is TP supposed to get better of JT is always protecting him as a passer. He can only go as far as our coaching staff will let him, and that aint very far the way things our looking. You can teach him everything you know about reading defenses in practice, but thats practice, where he doesnt get hit, and in 7 on 7 he doesnt even have to know how to read blitzes. I think we need to get an outside opinion, on our offensive gameplan. Go get someone from the sec or big 12, instead of people that have been with JT since he was at YSU. All our offensive coordinators know how to do is run the ball, and some of them know what works in D2 football but we dont have anyone one that isnt going to grind it out. I think the playcalling has hurt us in more than games. All the big time recievers see that we have some really good receivers and htey dont get any touches bc we are affraid to pass the ball. When there are schools out there like TTech who only run the ball 10 times a game those recivers are going to go there to get their touches. I love ohio state but when tressel coaches his offense but leans on his defense every game thats saying somthing. Im hoping for a rose bowl trip with USC but if we dont pass the ball we will lose by 30 again. I dont think that beanie will make that much of a difference bc that really makes us one dimentianal(I think i spelled that wrong) and against a defense as good as usc we cant do that. Im not complaing about JT(no matter how much it sounds like it) im happy with what he has done here, but he might really ruin one of the best talents you will ever see.

If Big 10 Fans watched Texas Tech / Texas Today or Oklahoma / Nebraska or even Oklahoma States Game... USC's Game, Florida / Georgia.... This is Why we Get NO RESPECT in the Big 10.... We have to Evolve like everyone else and learn to Spread the Field, Throw, Run... High Powered Offenses.... if not we'll just be known as the OVERATED Conference like everyone thinks we are.... and Until Someone Steps up and Beats up on one of the other Conferences in a National Championship Game, we are Overated. Lord forbid if Penn State gets Blown out by Alabama or Florida, or Texas Tech or Oklahoma..... the Big 10 will Never Get Respect! Oh and Texas Tech is averaging over 100 yds per game rushing the Ball... they just put up another 400-500 in passing... they may have had 150 or close to it on the ground tonight against Texas. But Peber1971 is right... Play Calling... you Cannot Win any longer against the Good Teams by being One Dimensional.... you have to throw 50-75 Percent of the time and mix in the Run.... think what Beanie would do in the Tx Tech System, or at OU or TX.... Probably a 2000 yard season or close to it! I now live in Oklahoma and have been for the last 20 years, so I see These Big 12 Schools Dominating and Putting Up Outrageous Numbers.... Its sickening because I Believe That Ohio State Is a Great School and Should Be Doing the Same! I could very easily turn my Loyalty over to OU, But I remain and will remain a Buckeye Fan!

After watching the Texas/Texas Tech game last night, I have to agree with BigYankeeFan. That game was unreal. The Big Ten would have a hard time keeping up with Texas Tech. Good play calling is the key to that win for them. If we could have that, we would be invincable. And penalities...There were only 2penalities the whole game. It was a well played, well coached game. We got a lot of work to do to be at that caliber.
