Terrelle, waits longer on the option to toss the ball than any player that I have ever seen.  I'm sure one of the tosses he made against UW was a forward pass instead of a toss.

The late toss makes the play more effective, but more dangerous too.

Because of that it helped bait the defender on the go ahead TD.   They expected him to toss it based on how long he holds the ball.

He hasn't lost a toss yet and it's been pretty effective to this point so I'm not worried at this point.

Nate, you know me, I worry about everything.   Wink   Sooner or later, we are going to lose one of those, but the positive plays have far outweighed the negatives to date.

Terrelle runs the option extremely well.  I wonder how many yards we could pile up if we came out and tried to "option" someone to death like the Oklahoma's and the Nebraska's of the 1970s.  Those teams used to pile up yards and points, didn't have much of a passing game, but that didn't matter unless they were behind.   biggrin  The athletes and the game are different these days, so I don't think we will ever see that happen at Ohio State.  It was also a pretty boring form of football to see play after play.

TP scares the @#$% out of me holding onto the ball as long as he does.  I like seeing him do it, it is refreshing to see something new with the QB  but he sure scares me.

I know when they look at film this week, Terrel didn't have to take that big 10 yard sack...............he had room to step up  into the pocket if anything. His first reaction is backing up. He will learn to move up into the pocket and take a sack if need be than to back peddle 10 yards.

I love watching this kid .............he is only gonna get better.

I also loved seeing Todd Boeckman cheering on the sideline for him..................really cool.

There are Buckeyes, and then there is Chris Spielman.  This is a man that needs no introduction; he embodies not only what it should mean to be a Buckeye, but what it should mean to be a football player and a man.  Simply put, there cannot possibly be anyone out there who does not respect Chris Spielman.  The man was born to play football as he rose from the storied Massillon Tigers to OSU to the NFL.

I thought we had a agreement. FlaBuck.  Can't you post anything without backhanding Todd Boeckman?  It's not cool or funny, FlaBuck.  It's sickening.

No wonder you got your butt chased off of BuckeyePlanet.com.

I didn't really think he was taking a jab at TB with that comment.   TB is cheering on the sideline for TP and taking his demotion like a man and good captain.

You've had 3 posts going after FlaBuck specifically for the same reason and they don't seem to be provoked.  Is there something going on?

In my opinion Terrelle is best suited as a play action roll out quarterback.  How can linebackers not bite on a fake to beanie.  Once they bite then TP could roll out and have the option to run and if the secondary comes up pass deep.  Besides I don't think that Tress will ever abandon the I.
