[!--quoteo--][div class=\'quotetop\']QUOTE[/div][div class=\'quotemain\'][!--quotec--]Having waited two years to play at Ohio State, Erik Haw wasn’t willing to wait any longer.
Haw, a sophomore running back from Independence High School, has transferred to Jackson State, a Division I-AA school in Mississippi. That will allow him to avoid sitting out a season, as he would have had he transferred to another Division I-A school.
He will have three years of eligibility.
"I wanted an opportunity to play and showcase my skills, let everyone see what they’ve been missing," Haw said yesterday. "I want my family to know that hard work and persistence will pay off in the end." [/quote]
LinkLooks like Erik wanted to play right away so he chose Jackson State. He wasn't going to play much under Pitman/Wells. It still baffles me that he was under Mo Wells on the depth chart. No matter now.
Go luck Haw!!
