First, welcome to Buckeyes 24/7 jdsoudry!

I didn't get to see the game.  This team a lot of talent so they can win 8 of the next 13 but they play like a young team.  Very inconsistent.

I watched bits and pieces of this game, and listend to the 2nd half on the radio ( I was in my garage ). But something I see alot about Butler. He seems to make a turnover at a bad time, telegraphs a pass every so often. After a UT score, he was in bounding the ball......waited a few seconds topick the ball up (why?) Just pick up the ball and get it in, by waiting he gave UT time to get thier full court press set up . Butler finally passed it in, but to a wrong player .......which added to a UT basket. UUGGGGGGHHHHH   frustrating.

He did similar stuff last yr.  Now I haven't watched ever game or have been keeping up consistantly , but when I have watched  Butler has made some mistakes that leaders don't make in his posistion. And I just spoke of one in the UT game. I like Lighty alot more than Butler.

Chris Spielman
There are Buckeyes, and then there is Chris Spielman.  This is a man that needs no introduction; he embodies not only what it should mean to be a Buckeye, but what it should mean to be a football player and a man.  Simply put, there cannot possibly be anyone out there who does not respect Chris Spielman.  The man was born to play football as he rose from the storied Massillon Tigers to OSU to the NFL.

Now for the not so positive.  We were terrible from behind the three point line.  I know when you're down by three points w/ ten seconds to go you need to shoot a three, but I think they only made two three's all night long.  When the three isn't going down, try something else!!!  I noticed 5-6 times Koufos came off a high pick & roll and ran right down the middle of the paint wide open and we couldn't get the ball to him for an easy layup or dunk.

Agree on the 3s.  We've been so inconsistent there.  It would be nice if Deibler could start hitting some of those.  It would be a huge lift for the team.  Surprisingly teams cover him pretty aggressively on the perimeter despite the fact that his percentage is very low.  I wish they would just leave him open.   biggrin

Regarding Koufos being open on the roll into the paint ... I noticed that too.  Twice Butler had the ball on the perimeter and could not get the ball to him.  Butler was being hounded pretty good on the perimeter all afternoon.  T did a good job on him.
