Living here in Los Angeles you have no idea how much abuse I've taken since the BCS selections came out from SC fans that believe they should have rightfully been in the championship game. rolleyes

If they would have beat the mighty power House Stanford they would have been in the title game.  tough team, rumor has it Stanford will be joining the SEC next year.  Look out.

Oh believe me I undetsand completely. But try talking to a trojan fan about that. "Our quarterback hurt his finger! If he wasn't hurt we wouldn't have lost that game, blah...blah...blah...."

Of course, they convienently forget that their QB doesn't play on defense and they gave up 2 4th and longs on that game winning drive. Typical SC fans. rolleyes

I really envy those fans that live in the city or state where they're favorite teams play. Most of my life i've been a Buckeye in condem country. Wink

Glad to have you representing The Ohio State University out west, especially in SC country.  There are Buckeye fans all over, OSU has the largest Alumni Association.

Let's hope enough of them make it down to LA for the game! Wink

Hey, really silly BCS game question; does anybody know if we'll be wearing the red or white uni's? huh

I haven't heard.  The last thing I heard is that Tressel hasn't decided yet.  All signs point to doing everything different than last year.  We could wear the Scarlet.  However, if we wear the whites we make LSU wear their purple jerseys, which they hate.

Okay, next stupid question then, how is it Tressel gets to choose? How are these things decided? Coin flip? blink

We are the #1 team, so we're considered the home team.  The home team gets to chose what uniforms they wear.

Okay, cool, that's a plain and simple answer even a left coaster like me can understand. blush

So last year when we were #1 also, Tressel chose to wear the away uni's? Were we #1 or #2 in 02' when we beat Miami? We wore the white uni's that time too.

Is this formula used for the other bowls too? Is the higher ranked team considered the "home team" and thus, able to chose which uni's they'll wear?
