Merry Christmas Buckeyes.........from Oklahoma Sooners.....we got you there!
Gee, just what we wanted!! No exchanges or returns there
Plus a shout out to the PITT Panthers!

It's so hard to go undefeated, only one major D-1A team has ever gone 14-0 in the history of the college football and win the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP.

Their offense is terrible.

PITT has a great, very UNDERRATED "D".....plus it is the "Back Yard Brawl" and WVU thought they were making hotel reservations not playing a football game in
"The Year of the Upset"
I loved the game.

Buckeyes being the underdog a good thing? I think so.
Quote
Columbus -- These words should sound like poetry to Ohio State fans:
"We know that pretty much everyone on earth hates us, so I mean, that's cool. We're going to be playing in Louisiana against LSU and SEC nation, so we'll end up being the underdog. That's fine with us."
From the mouth of Ohio State captain and senior right tackle Kirk Barton comes the ingredients needed for BCS victory -- the feelings of doubt and disrespect that have been a winning recipe for too many national championship teams.
In the 10th year of the modern BCS system, the underdog team according to the point spread has won six of nine games, including last year when the seven-point underdog Florida Gators, egged on by coach Urban Meyer's emphasis of their status, blew the Buckeyes off the field.
Right now, the Buckeyes, despite holding the No. 1 ranking, are 5½-point underdogs to LSU for the Jan. 7 national title game after a season of hearing their conference and schedule called into question.
If you're in it to win it, at least when there's a month-long buildup involved, it's better if you're picked to lose it.
"The underdog role . . . we used that quite a bit," Meyer said 11 months ago, the morning after beating Ohio State, 41-14. "It was like a feeding frenzy. We started seeing how it was sharks in the water once that thing got going."
The underdog mentality has been around since the slingshot, but when you throw together 20-year-olds, the ever-growing hype machine and the longest downtime in sports, it has proven particularly effective.
"The favored teams start listening to the hype," said Susan Ziegler, a professor of sports psychology at Cleveland State University. "You begin to focus on how great I am and you forget to take care of the details. The other team is focused on 'Gosh, we're not supposed to win this,' so they work on problem solving and executing."

Being the underdog is what I like to see. I would like to see the spread widen just a bit but that will do for now.

I feel we play better being the underdogs and the outcome is seems to always be better
. Any time we are the favorite, it always seems to bite us in the butt!!!

From what I've heard Bo Pelini is going coach the Title Game for LSU as the D-Cordinator even though he's the new head coach at Nebraska.
Talk about a mountain of distractions for the LSU program. I'm glad we're the underdogs and focussed.

Living here in Los Angeles you have no idea how much abuse I've taken since the BCS selections came out from SC fans that believe they should have rightfully been in the championship game.
