The Buckeyes run shallow at the point guard position, with only 3 true guards that play any significant time. If Butler went down we would have to use Hill or Diebler to run the point. There are two more true guards that may be able to handle the ball. Mark Titus or Danny Peters would have to come in and handle the ball. In my opinion if Butler went down or got taken out the line up would be Koufos, Hunter, Diebler, Lighty, and P.J. Hill/Dallas Lauderdale. It's according to whether Matta wanted to go with a 3 guard set or a 2 guard set.

It does appear that we are little thin at guard, unlike last year.  If Butler went down Hill would run point and Hill isn't really a scorer.  We need Deibler to get his stroke and Kofous to figure out how he wants to play and the coaches on how they are going to use him.

This team is still figuring itself out and figuring out it's roles.
