Robert Smith was on 1460 talking about the fumble.  Basically, he couldn't believe it wasn't reviewed.  Thought it was ridiculous it wasn't reviewed.  Said  he thought officials and the Big 10 owed OSU an apology based on precedent from earlier in the year with other blown replay calls in which apologies were issued.

What was interesting is that he said he couldn't believe it wasn't being talked about more.  The #1 team in the country lost by 7 points and the refs blew an obvious fumble call that would have been a 14 point swing since we recovered it.  Then said the reason is that most in the media didn't think OSU should have been #1 so they didn't want to bring attention to the issue.

Smith nailed it.  I'll tell you, he's not scared to say anything.  He's a lot better than Lou Holtz.  Why don't they put Smith on the scoreboard program with Reese Davis and Mark Maye.  I think Maye would have a heart attack sitting next to a Buckeye.

I'm also pretty sure that they didn't show the replay on the stadium jumbotron.  Sgtschulze can probably confirm that since he was at the game.  Tressel that he was told there were technical difficulties with the replay.
