A victory over Wisconsin this weekend will be historic in that Ohio State will own the Big 10 record for most consecutive Big 10 victories.

Given the long storied history of the Big 10, holding that record is significant.

Here's to hoping that we push the streak up a few more games by year's end.   sign_oh

I knew it was getting up there but wow.  That's impressive.  Let's hope we keep it rolling!

That is a big deal! It's tough to win year after year in your own conference without at least a FEW upsets or straight out losses.

Plus I believe the record is now held by "that team up North". lmfao

If/when they get the record it's mainly due to Jim Tressel and his belief in team building, playing a lot of players which builds dynasties.

GO BUCKEYES, get another "W"! sign_io

GO BROWNS, TRIBE, BUCKEYES, CAVS, YSU, and yes I like ND plus GO NAVY, beat Army!!

It's so hard to go undefeated, only one major D-1A team has ever gone 14-0 in the history of the college football and win the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP.

Jim Tressel and The OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY BUCKEYES!

I agree and think that has been a team strength and has been a differentiator between Ohio State and the team from up north.  Year-to-year, we have backups move into starting positions that are seasoned.

Contributions from incoming freshmen, like Heywood and Larimore, is huge too.  I think JT is true to his word that the best players play.

That's what you have to love about JT.  He let's talent play.  We're going to be in great shape next year as well as this is a young team getting a LOT of experience.

IMO, JT is the best coach in college football and I wouldn't trade him for anybody!

With all the outstanding teams that have come and gone in the Big Ten, this is amazing that a team could win 20 straight, or even 19.

Let's hope Ohio State beats Michigan and then beats LSU in the title game.  That will quiet both the "Les Miles to Michigan" and "SEC is so much better than the Big Ten" talk!
