Yet again, we're playing a team in the low 20s and if/when we beat them they fall out and we haven't played anybody.  rolleyes

Go BUCKS!  Time to dominate again!

Wisky is an easier team to prepare for than PSU.  Gameplan #1.............Stop PJ..................Game Over.  I will give credit to Wisky, they are coming off a dominating win over a solid Indiana team, but this one should be about like the PSU game as far as the score and what not.

Ohio State totally dominated against a good Penn St. team. They kept the ball close to 60% team, had 24 first downs, while holding a potent Penn St. offense to 14 first downs. They moved the ball at will. They were 12-16 on 3rd down and 1-1 on 4th down. When they needed to it seemed they could just hit a switch and get a first down. The Defense has been a big part of the success holding Penn State to 263 total yards while picking up a touchdown of their own. Now for Wisconsin, who also had a pretty dominating performance.

Wisconsin's offense also seemed pretty potent picking up 23 first downs, 423 total yards (279) on the ground, but they weren't very good on third downs only 5-14. I don't know how a team like Wisconsin will handle the pressure and excitement in the horseshoe. It will be like no where they've played this year. The only place that compares is Happy Valley where they got trampled 38-7. If Ohio State can contain Hill they will win, if they don't and let him run for over 100 yards it will be a close game.

My final prediction is that Ohio States defense steps up and doesn't let Hill run the ball, or Donovan throw the ball. Hill will pick up close to 85 yards, and Jenkins, along with the rest of the secondary, will shut down the passing game. They will score once. Final 35-7 in Ohio States favor.

I don't know, you never know what Wisconsin team will show up, plus heres an interesting thing, OSU is #1 and your out of your mind if you think Wisconsin doesn't know that, point being every team is gonna try harder to beat you because your on top. If Michigan wins(its State week, got to deal with their crap) then all thats left is a trip to Madison, and The game this year will be good, because once again Michigan will be the best team OSU has faced this year.
Michigan 34 MSU 17.
OSU 27 Wis 21.

I really see this game getting out of hand.  I'm not trying to get to confident but PJ Hill is hurt.  They've had bad QB play all year.  Their defense is far from good and isn't very fast in the secondary.

This is a recipe for a Buckeye blowout.

As long as this team stays focused I'm not sure there is a team in the Big 10 that can beat us.

Think on this.  Penn State beat Wisky 38-7 in Happy Valley.  You saw what we did to Penn State at Happy Valley.

If we play our game, Wisky will be lucky to keep it close. By close I mean within 14.

I'm not sure about out of hand but we need a good win and then next week we need to focus on Illinois and not look forward to Michigan and get caught with our pants down.  good

35 -3 OSU scores twice in the 1st QTR.

I totally agree with you on this.  Never underestimate the teams in the lower rankings.

Here's an article from the Sporting News on this weeks game. The title cracks me up.

Wisconsin at No. 1 Ohio State: Invasion of the Body Snatchers

Quote
Wisconsin at No. 1 Ohio State: Invasion of the Body Snatchers

The slow march of Ohio State to No. 1 seemed so ordinary: Week 5, still undefeated. Week 6? Undefeated. Week 7, Week 8 ... it all seemed so ordinary, so inevitable, until you looked up on Nov. 1 and realized that, yes, they'd taken over again one play at a time.

Coach Jim Tressel's body snatchers earned the No. 1 ranking in the unspectacular manner they usually do: using bullying defense, an economical passing game (Todd Boeckman leads the Big Ten in passing efficiency) and power running.

Beanie Wells is stealing the soul of opposing defenses for 110.7 rushing yards per game. The Buckeyes grind out first downs and dominate the clock. They don't turn the ball over. And if you watched the Penn State game, it all happened with a precision and businesslike demeanor that makes you wonder if this isn't supposed to happen.

Wisconsin, though, sees its neighbors turning into pod people in the Big Ten and will raise hell to stop Ohio State's 20th consecutive conference win from happening. Wisconsin has won the last two games it has played against Ohio State, including a win in the Horseshoe in 2004.

In any other year, we'd pick Wisconsin to stultify the Buckeyes' first-down machine, expose the weaknesses in the Buckeyes' impenetrable defense and otherwise stop the quiet and calculated OSU takeover of the world.

In 2007, however, that happens only in movies; plus, Wisconsin running back P.J. Hill is questionable with a severely bruised leg. The pick: Ohio State, taking over college football one body at a time: "Sooner or later, you'll have to go to sleep."

I heard that PJ might be out, any of you guys heard that? If he is, pff figures. OSU faces Wisky while there hurt, then we go to Madison, and there full strength. Kinda ironic.
