Jon Diebler is amazing. His team plays in the same conference as my old high school, so I went and watched him play a few times last year. He is unbelievable. One of the games I watched him play was the district finals against my old school. He scored 55 points with a badly strained elbow in the best high school basketball game I've ever seen. Earlier that season he scored 77 points in one game. I would guess that he's about 6'7", but is still way too thin. He has a great shot and can get to the basket at will. If he puts on some weight, I think he can be very, very good at the next level. If we can covince Oden and company to stick around, we would have the best team in college basketball in 2007.

My wife is from Upper Sandusky.  She was born there and went to school all the way through her freshman year before her parents moved to Columbus.  Her parents and much of her family is still up there.  So I basically know about the Dieblers as they arrived in Upper Sandusky.  The fact that Upper won a state championship in basketball a 2 years ago has her family ramped.

Jon Diebler does appear to be better than his older brother, who plays at Valpo right now.

I'm pretty sure Thad and company will try to get some meat on Jon.

I've seen him play. Disgusting abilities (and that's a good thing).

Dave Telep from Scout.com predicts Diebler would become a 1,000 point scorer at Ohio State. An IMO i think after his first year he has a soild chance to be on the Big Ten all Defensive team. Like his brother, i have seen both of those guys play. Like Aces. My old school is in the NOL(Northern Ohio Leauge). The Dieblers are straight hustlers and can get their hands on the ball at will. Going to be some exciting years at the Nuthouse.
